Then you will proceed to the home of the gentle giants for Gorilla trekking among other optional activities including the Batwa community walk, Bird watching among others. Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park

The driver will pick you up after early morning breakfast from your hotel by 7:30am. you will be briefed about your safari, thereafter, you will start your journey to Murchison falls national park, you will have a brief stopover at the equator for a photo shoot and procced to the park with an enroute lunch. On arrival at the park, you will drive straight to the top of the falls where you will see the refreshing waters of the Nile squeezing through a narrow passage and falling down with a thunderous roar with beautiful and breathtaking views. Uganda is known for its diverse landscapes, rich wildlife, and the opportunity to encounter endangered primates up close. proceed and check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and Afternoon boat

Have early morning coffer/breakfast and set out for morning game drive which is the best time to catch with the park coming alive, a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and more. After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Nile Delta, which is an excellent opportunity for birdwatching and seeing wildlife along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its chimpanzee population. Enjoy the scenic drive through rural Uganda and arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. In the evening, you can take a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its diverse bird species and other primates.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Community Visit

In the morning, head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing before setting off on your chimpanzee tracking adventure. Trek through the forest, accompanied by experienced guides, and spend an unforgettable hour observing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit the local community in Bigodi, where you will learn about their culture and engage in community projects including; a community walk, swamp walk, and a local food experience among others.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge and settle in. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species.

Day 6: Game Drive and Ishasha Sector and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Start the day with a thrilling morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you have the chance to encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. Later, transfer to the Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Take a game drive in search of these unique predators. Return to the lodge for lunch and check out and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community walk

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After a briefing from the park authorities, trek through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. Once you find them, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for relaxation and later afternoon, you will go for Batwa community walk to the surrounding pygmy community where you will learn about pygmy culture and engage in various community projects. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure

After morning breakfast, you check out of the lodge and exit the park and start your return journey back to Kampala. lunch will be enroute at Mbarara town, embark on your journey arriving in Kampala late afternoon where the driver will drop you off at the airport or at your preferred location marking the end of the 8 days Uganda safari.
