Uganda: Gorilla trekking in Uganda is mainly conducted in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. These parks are located in southwestern Uganda, which requires a longer journey, especially if you are flying into Entebbe International Airport.
Congo: The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) offers gorilla trekking in Virunga National Park. However, due to ongoing security concerns and sporadic political instability in some regions, it may be more challenging to access compared to Rwanda and Uganda. It’s essential to stay informed about the current situation and consult with reputable tour operators if considering gorilla trekking in Congo.

Rwanda: Rwanda has a limited number of habituated gorilla groups available for tourism. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Rwanda had ten habituated gorilla groups open for visitors.
